Mission
Camp Emanuel is a day and resident camp in southwestern Ohio for children from five to 17 which specifically integrates hearing children with language impairment children. Camp Emanuel promotes decision making and team building skills, self esteem, and an understanding of acceptance between all children. Camp Emanuel provides an environment of trust, love, security, and acceptance. Camp Emanuel has been in operation for over 25 years and provides a professional staff: A registered nurse, a speech and language therapist, interpreters and counselors who are certified educators in many areas of elementary and special education, and many dedicated volunteers from local high schools.
